Servus!

I thought I should update my journal, but there isn't much to say really! I'm still in Germany, and I'm feeling a lot more at home now. I've begun to explore my town a bit more and I've started to take more photos after being stuck in a photography rut.

I will be travelling again soon and I can't wait! My mum is coming over at the end of July and I will be taking her on a surprise two-day trip to the south of Germany, including Munich. I've never been to this area before, so I'm really looking forward to it.

In August, a good friend of mine will be travelling to Europe from Japan. I've planned to meet her in London and then we will fly on to Austria. As you may know, I have been to Austria several times before, but as this will be Yuko's first time in the country, we plan to do a lot of touristy things. We will be staying in Vienna and we may venture over to Salzburg for a day trip. After she leaves, I will travel on to Linz to meet up with some people there. Linz is this year's European Capital of Culture and is also a very industrial town, so I hope to get some good photos.

For those who know HDR, I would be very grateful if you could give me some advice on taking HDR photos at night... there are some photos of Vienna and Linz that I would love to take, but I have no idea where to begin. Even if you could point me in the direction of a tutorial, I would be most grateful.
